Introduction

Library Subject Guides: Curated lists of resources created by librarians to support patrons’ research needs. includes books, journals, databases, websites, and any other resources deemed useful by the librarian. (libsuccess.org, n.d.)

This subject guide is designed to provide members of the School of Physical Therapy, including students and faculty, with scientific resources and tools that enhance their knowledge and research capabilities.

Printed Collection

The library's physical collection supports your research, education, and exploration, so patrons can use it to get the needed information by:

1. Using the OPAC to search and find the needed collection.

OPAC: Stands for "Online Public Access Catalog," and it is a tool that allows users to search and access the Library Collection.

2. Get the call numbers of the resources, then reach them in the library.

The Call Number consists of [the Dewey classification number (DDC23) according to the resource subject] + [the first two letters of the main author's last name/or the first three letters of the title of the resource]. This allows the library to control and keep the arrangement of the library collections.

3. Use resources inside the library or borrow them. (Review Circulation Policy/Borrowing Rules)
